Throwing in the trash is mild.

Piss on it and let it finish drying.

A lady in my an apartment building I used to live at started doing this to other tenants. She did it to me once in the middle of winter. Her wet clothes wound up in the snow.

I always stuck with my laundry over fear of this. We had a fairly large laundry room in my dorm basement and I would do homework down there while things ran. I remember one day some dude came down and opened the drier I was using with my clothes sopping wet and started to take them out for his. I stood up and asked him "what the fuck are you doing?" And he seem startled to see me pop up from the table corner, and sheepishly just said he thought my clothes were dry and he needed to use the drier like I was a dumbass to be tricked. Plenty of other open driers to boot. He moved to a different one , paid, and then then left.

Some people are just scum. We're all college students here using freakin coin operated washer and driers in a basement. Nobody should be assuming anyone is well off enough to get screwed on the cost of cleaning their clothes.
