I found a girl I want to marry. After all these years searching (not really, I'm only 27). Against everything both of us have gone through, during a pandemic, and through work of all places I met her. We're 4 months in and this post really hits home for me and just reinforces the idea... I'm gonna marry this girl.
This is pretty much me and my wife's regular conversation;
"Why are you so quiet?"
*shrug*
"Are you upset?"
"No"
"Are you happy?"
"Yes"
"You don't seem happy"
*shrug*
I can socialize no problem, but I find it draining. It makes me incredibly happy to just be around people that I can just be quiet and stoic around and not have to put up a jovial and gregarious persona with.
