Honestly people completely tuning out politics is what got us in this mess. Don't have a full feed of it, but don't check out and think everyone else who "cares will keep politics sane," clearly that didn't work. I went to school for it, I don't expect everyone to stay on top of it to that level, but knowing stances of the most important issues in America is just common sense. Not knowing them is being an ignorant asshole.
