For as much as people love Kimi, they would absolutely hate someone else that acts the same way as he does. You can see the with stroll, vertsappen, and Ocon

I guess it's also a matter of personalities, and possibly expectations.

I don't know how Kimi was when he was younger, but for as long as I've seen him, he's always come across as not being very inclined to giving interviews and enjoying chit chat with the press (he also has all the rights to be fed up by answering the same questions over and over again, he's been at it for a long time tbf...).

Stroll on the other hand has a different personality, bit more open, and is kinda more accommodating most of the time. The odd time he may have had a bad day and doesn't feel like it, he gets crucified because it's out of character. That's not his fault, mind you, but as I said, it's about others' expectations. Unfair, but it is what it is.
