A Himalayan Sheepdog who guided us for 7 miles on a trek... It’s almost as if he knew that we would get lost after it got dark. He sat with us when we rested and ranged ahead and made sure that both of us kept pace with him.
This happened to me once in Ecuador. I was lost, trying to find a waterfall in the cloud forest. A white dog came, seemingly out of nowhere, and guided myself and two traveling companions right to the entrance. Never saw that dog again, it is my spirit animal.
This happened to us on the Amalfi coast in Italy. We were walking up a path and a dog came out of nowhere so we followed him... right to his owners lemonade shop. We couldn’t say no!
