I'd happily pay a bit more for my food to not come in plastic bags and containers but I can't just not buy food I'd die, and I can't tell the corporations to stop using plastic because they won't listen, but hey it's a 'family business' so they care, and I'd happily pay more for fast food so that the employees don't have to work for a living wage that you can't live on

Yup. Concrete and fertilizer factories are totally okay but owning a 1.6 L internal combustion engine in the future will be considered a federal crime
