I will have to drive for 6 hours back to Seattle to vote in person because when I tried to change my voter registration to Oregon where I currently live, I was told that I had been flagged for voter fraud and must change my registration in person rather than online. This wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that the only way to change my registration in person where I live is to go to the courthouse and they are closed indefinitely due to the pandemic. Can’t even make an appointment. So it’s road trip time for me. I’d fly, but that’s some rich people shit.

Imagine having to register to vote, and then move more than 2 kilometers to vote. Here we receive a letter in the mail with the direction of the public school closest to your registered residence, and then go do a 30 min queue to vote.

Now if only Peron hadn't made such a good propaganda campaign we would probably less braindead fanatics...

Fun fact: schools (and other establishments) where voting takes place are guarded by the army, so it's the only time you see them in full uniform and weapons outside of the training fields.

My wife and I submitted our absentee ballot requests by mail to Texas on the same day from the same mail box. Hers was received. When I followed up, I was told on three separate occasions to wait because they’re getting so many. I was then told yesterday to resubmit it by Friday otherwise I would not be able to receive my ballot.
