There's another amusing aspect to stories like this.

Those bullies won't be in high school forever. They will go on to start careers, marriages, mortgages, layoffs, divorces, addictions, having their own kids in school, real world stuff that teaches just how insignificant their adolescent squabbles were.

There's nothing amusing in anyone's suffering, though. It's knowing that time is the great leveler. The most popular kids in school can't outrun the humility that comes with age. If they're smart enough, they come to recognize how similar we all are.

EDIT: Please stop reading "comeuppance" into this. This is not a teen movie. The only argument here is that adult life sets in, and being the popular kid in high school doesn't necessarily translate into it.
