I can only imagine the Simpsons ending due to a main character voice actor dying. And even then who knows if they would just fill it or use some sort of computer Quija Board to cut old episodes voice lines into new ones.

Can't we at least have a prequel season to shake things up.
Season about his father where each episode progresses from his childhood until he gets old to near present day.
