I've got a friend who started a podcast. I listen to a lot of podcasts but there are sooo many out there and if you don't have something unique then you're just another person who thinks your conversation is soooo gripping other people want to listen to it.
We all banter with our friends, no need to record and broadcast it. Have a unique take, subject matter or format and maybe your podcast will be decent, but not you george, yours is really great.
