It is very unlikely this will lead to anything. I spent a year working in Western Togoland (near the town of Hohoe) and the (majority of) people in the region see themselves as Ghanaian above all else. Without widespread support there is no way these ‘separatists’ will succeed. In fact according to reports the Ghanaian government first thought this declaration of independence was a joke!
