She always used to abuse my sister and me after she threw dad out of the house.
At some point I moved to my dad but still used to visit her.
One day (i think i was fourteen) she wanted to slap across my face but i raised my arm to block the hit wich bruised her so bad that she wanted to file a complaint.. I told her that I would do the same for all the times she abused us (me n my sister)
I hit my drunk Mom back when I was 16 because she punched me in my braces for asking her to turn the tv down at 1am because it was a school night. She OFTEN brought up, "remember when you gave me that black eye?" In conversations for years. (She'd also tried to send me into foster care or the Navy at that age, just after my parents divorce, I'd already been raising myself at that point because she'd go out barhopping after work until bartime, call me to come pick her drunk ass up, etc), I had a Dad to go live with.... Except his girlfriend told me straight up the first time I met her, "I'm dating your Dad, not you!" And my Dad pretty much chose her. I'm thankful for the close, HAPPY, LOVING relationship I have with my own son and my new friends!!
