Did better than most of the detractors could at the same age be mad at Lucas and the rest of the higher ups that didn't properly write or direct a child.

I loved that scene where he says goodbye to his mother. That's the scene that showed me that he had acting chops, he just needed stronger direction and dialogues to shine.

Recently diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and was bullied and harassed for his role in this movie during his middle school and high school years. I severely hope he ends up alright for someone who played such a key role in my childhood.
