What is going on with all the frozen Ice Age mammals being found lately?! I've seen a bear, a wolf cub, and this lion baby in the same week!

It's crazy to think, 44,000 years ago a living being lay in this position as it died. I like to think it slept peacefully, but maybe it froze to death. Either way it's like a snapshot in time. It had its last meal in the days before, it followed it's mother around and no doubt felt love for her, or maybe not, it may have enjoyed the heat from the sun on a clear day and played with it's siblings. It was born, and it lived. And somewhere in the world during this time humans like us walked.
