Hey there, just a heads up to properly lock a bike you should always lock at least the frame and preferably both wheels. The picture you show they could've really stolen the frame or even the whole bike without much hassle.
They could've stolen the frame because only the front wheel was locked... take it off and you have a new frame.
They could've stolen the whole bike because that lock you used as a very thin piece of metal and a bunch of plastic. It can be cut through with basic cutters in a matter im of 2 seconds.
It sucks that your wheel was stolen, but just a heads up that if someone really wants your bike, they wouldn't have trouble getting it. Best of luck!

Careful with that. I'm pretty sure they do it so you leave the bike there for them to take later.

Only the front wheel is locked, why wouldn't the thieves just remove the front wheel (less work than the rear wheel) and take almost the entire bike?
