Kids get taken away because their family doesn’t have enough money, then they place the kid with a foster family and give THAT family money to take care of them. Seems like there might be a shortcut we could take...

This was over a year ago, but it's still crazy that the school refused the money when a rich donor tried to pay off all the debt.
Edit:they did end up taking donations
