This actress just topped the list of the most deadly actors of all time

Well, it's official. The numbers have been crunched, the bodies have been counted, and the folks over at Movies4Men have determined just who, exactly, is the deadliest action hero all time.

Could it be Blade's Wesley Snipes, who spent three films killing off vampires? How about Daniel Craig as James Bond, who's rounding out his fifth film of taking out bad guys with his license to kill?

No and nope, is the quick answer, because their kill count combined doesn't even come close to touching the deadliest actor of all time.

Step forward Milla Jovovich, whose role as Alice across six Resident Evil films helped send her straight to the top of the list with 1,296 kills.

In honour of its 'Tough Guy Season', Movies4Men reviewed more than 350 films and totted up the death count to compile its deadliest actors list, including the likes of Aliens, Die Hard and The Terminator.

To make the cut, actors must have starred in at least 10 films within the action, adventure or thriller genres and have received both combat and weapons training.

Across the top 10, action hero extraordinaire Jason Statham has managed 718 kills across his career (although the real question is: how does that compare to the Megalodon's kill count?) to come in at number seven, while Arnold Schwarzenegger sits at number four with 842.

Coming in at second place is martial artist and actor Jet Li, who's killed 1,076 people on-screen over the course of his career, while Dolph Lundgren and Chow Yun-Fat round out the top 5 with 919 and 810 kills respectively.

And yes, not only did Milla top the list, but she's also the only woman to even make it into the Top 20. Come on, Hollywood – female characters can kill too!

Here's the top 10 deadliest action heroes of all time list in full:

Milla Jovovich – 1,296 Jet Li – 1,076 Dolph Lundgren - 919 Arnold Schwarzenegger - 842 Chow Yun-Fat - 810 Sylvester Stallone - 786 Jason Statham - 718 Kevin Costner - 670 Wesley Snipes - 593 Nicholas Cage – 571

Oh, and if you're wondering how many kills Daniel Craig has wracked up during his time as Bond and beyond, the number came in at 348, just above Bruce Willis (343) and Tom Cruise (341).

Not so deadly after all, eh Bond?

Movies4Men is available on Freeview, Freesat, Virgin Media and Sky and will be celebrating Hollywood's toughest heroes all through September, with a different movie airing at 9pm every night, featuring Resident Evil: Afterlife, War Pigs, Precious Cargo and many more.

Edit: misspelled kunis.
