The way I did it was delete the app (along with IG and twitter) from my phone. I can still check it now and then from my laptop, but not having it on my phone has been an incredible game changer.

Facebook would be just fine if people would use facebook for keeping up with friends and family like it was meant to...
edit ~ I get that a lot of people use facebook for this, but the problem is all the people who use it for news and promotion.
