In Troy (2004), Brad Pitt and Eric Bana did not use stunt doubles for their epic duel. They made a gentleman's agreement to pay for every accidental hit. $50 for each light hit, $100 for each hard blow. Pitt ended up paying Bana $750. Bana didn't owe Pitt anything

The first fight scene with Achilles and this fight scene with Hector are amazing. Aged so well too.

In fairness this may not be due exclusively to Pitt's clumsy swordsmanship. Bana plays defense for most of the fight, parrying and backing away. By my count Pitt throws about 3 times as many strikes as Bana in their fight.

So you're telling me for $750 you can "accidentally" beat the shit out of Eric Bana?
