Today, several people messaged me about a reddit post with thousand of upvotes and dozens of awards - posted by someone else but using my art (you might remember the redbull drawing comparison that you thought was an advertisement?).

I am the artist. I am a student and trying to make a living off art, always learning and trying to improve. This is a ‚crushed‘ series that I created for a sticker set and I know - I have still a lot to learn. These drawing help me get an understanding of what I have to improve on and it was just fun to draw and create the full series.

Nonetheless, it is kind of heartbreaking to see someone take my art without permission and post it without credit, getting lots of attention that could have helped me pushed my career just a little. But that attention was stolen and given to someone else. So here is more art, my art, posted by me, the original artist who knows that this is not perfect but still wants to share it with the world, by herself, not through someone else. Thank you!

FYI:

Size: Din A4 (similar to Letter)

Material: Colored Pencils on Paper

[EDIT] Found the original (stolen) post. The person who posted my art without permission and without credit got 49k upvotes, 400 comments and over 40 (!) awards ... This reach could have helped me so much... but he took it from me.

Do you have a link to the stolen post?

I recommend you start tagging your photos with your social media accounts. In a way that they cannot remove it. I have multiple friends in the community get their art stolen. People will continue to do so with no remorse.
