This Demon's Souls absolutely floored me and I REALLY hope this becomes the new standard for remakes, remasters or whatever. Because a new coat of paint is one thing and we all like an old game to look cleaner on a new TV...but this looks like it was NEVER an old game to begin with.
Yes. It’s an absolute fact that the Demon’s Souls remake is miles better than the Prince of Persia remake.
But I think it’s also important to remember that Demon’s Souls is being marketed as a high tier next-gen AAA launch title that is being sold for $70, whereas the Prince of Persia remake doesn’t have a next-gen version, is being sold for $40, and is being made by a Ubisoft mobile/support studio.
There’s obvious reasons why there is a difference. They aren’t both being marketed or made as high tier AAA remakes.
