I saw a homeless man's rotten finger on the streetcar in Toronto that was basically a gradient of all these running from his hand to the end of one of his fingers which went from regular human meat at the hand, to swollen, red purple, black and then ended in his exposed finger bone. It probably wasn't dry on the end but I also didn't stick around long to see since he sat down across from me and the smell was tremendous. Hopefully he got medical attention but seeing the state his finger was already in, I doubt it.
