Kudos to your father. While I understand keeping his name hidden (I assume due to his wanting everything under wraps), this bad ass man deserves to have people know just who saved countless lives.

When all others run away...they run towards. Epitome of heroism and exemplified by your dad. Likely doesn't want to talk about because of the unreal trauma it must have been. I have a college roommate who is an EMT and was at ground zero and when I saw him next time, a few weeks later, he just couldn't get over the number of people who died. He felt he just didn't do enough to save more. I can't imagine the toll that must take on him and, I'm totally guessing here, your dad. My thanks to him. I knew many who died on this day and many who survived. And we all marvel at the courage, stamina, heart, and terror folks like your dad had to deal with and yet still climb those stairs. God Bless him.
