There’s a couple of teenagers that are on the hook for an enormous wildfire that burned the forest on a scenic highway that’s along the Columbia river. Still charred and the roads are still closed since 2017.
Edit: was corrected that it was just one teenager and he’s on the hook for $37m... red flag warning today pnw people, so don’t throw any gender reveal parties...
Same thing happened to the border patrol dude in AZ that sparked a massive fire with a gender reveal party. He owes something in the several million range but only has to pay 100,000 up front and then something like 10,000 a year for several decades
