TIL Adultery is a felony in the state of Michigan, and when a Married Woman and Single Man commit adultery, the male is also guilty of a felony

Punishment—Any person who shall commit adultery shall be guilty of a felony; and when the crime is committed between a married woman and a man who is unmarried, the man shall be guilty of adultery, and liable to the same punishment.

There's a few states that still have 'alienation of affection' laws but I think out of them only NC really entertains them. Basically the aggrieved spouse can sue the 3rd party for wrecking their marriage. There's usually a high profile suit every few years where the spouse is awarded a multi-million settlement.

Lots of states have laws on the books that are unenforceable. I doubt this survives a challenge if it is ever enforced.
