Tywin would have had the good sense to take the White Walkers seriously if he saw the Whight like Cersei did.
But then again if Tywin lived to S8 they would probably have just turned him in to a fucking idiot. It happened to Varys, Tyrion and Littlefinger, D&D seem to be completely incapable of writing smart characters properly if they don't have any source material.
