The summer that pokemon go came out was wild, I don't think I've talked to more strangers in my entire life and everyone everywhere was playing. I live near a summer tourist destination and walking around downtown everyone had their phones out and people would let you know where they just saw a bulbasaur or something, and there were always people playing around pokestops or gyms. I kind of miss that.

they are very similar you play intensely for a while then get burned out and pick it up every now and again
