Years ago, we had a momma cat, and the first time we introduced the kittens to the litter box was hilarious; they all knew just what to do and were scooting all around in it, doing their thing and scratching away.
Yeah this is what made me fall in love w my cat. I wasn’t a cat person at all but we got one for my gf (now wife) since I worked really long hours and she would be home alone.
First day in the house our kitten, small and still building up his strength walks shakily to the litter. Takes a poop, and proceeds to cover it up. So here we have this frail nugget who can barely walk covering up his own poop.
Fucking love my boy ever since.
Edit: Thanks for the award and replies everyone, definitely didn’t expect all of this when I woke up lol. For fun I’ll tell you my cats name. His name is Nori. He’s a black cat. We named him Nori because of the French word for black “Noir”, we just flipped the last two letters. And we nick named him Nori Mochi after the ice cream. Just a beautiful little soul.
