We aren't though. People act like you can just move countries on a whim, but it's not that easy. It makes more sense to try to change what's wrong than just say "fuck this".
Americans are not free to leave. The IRS will find americans abroad and tax them, but you can denounce your citizenship for a small fee of 500-2500 dollars.
I don’t get why, when someone make a valid criticism of anything in the US, they are hit with “YOU CAN LEAVE ANYTIME”. How is a nation supposed to improve if anything that upsets people has to remain unchanged and unchallenged?
