The second panel isn't about completely losing romance. For my marriage (been together 10 years) we are not stereotypical. Different people will see this comic differently.
I see it positively because sex becomes more casual, not non existant. I think many people see it negatively because they don't get much sex, so casual sex is a sad compromise in their mind. Don'y be in a sad marriage. Stay sharp and have mutual respect.
Disappointed I'm not seeing anyone pointing out that there are way more little floaty hearts in the 13 years panel.
Didn't strike me as a comic about being in a sexless relationship. Just about being comfortable enough with each other to skip all the extra effort once in a while.
