I was invited out and after a great night someone in the group said, “We never invite you because you always look sad.”
It’s hard enough to maneuver through my own insecurities and challenges living with depression and anxiety. But sometimes even well intended people say some stupid shit. Invite me out. I’ll join you; I’ll challenge my will and energy to spend some time with you. I’ll try to make an effort.
This statement is about Eeyore's great friends, not Eeyore. What makes Eeyore great is that he always makes an effort; even when he's really struggling, he still shows up. Little victories everyday, and his friends celebrate with him.
