IAAL and many courts are now doing Microsoft Teams hearings. My baby cat decided that she wanted to first chair one of my hearings and made her first court appearance in the middle of my cross examination. There was muffled laughing as I kept going, but obviously removed her from the front of the camera. Bad lawyer cat!
My mom is a first grade teacher. She scheduled a Zoom meeting the day before distance learning started specifically so students could show off all the cool things in their home that they were excited to share with their teacher. She met everyone’s pets and saw their favorite toys. It was a wonderful experience that helped the kids get comfortable with her and excited for school.

Either the cat is in my lap during Zoom meetings or we get to listen to him banging and yelling at the door for the entire meeting.
