Are we really gonna leave the saving of the world to the whippersnappers?

Yep, I love this aspect of the show as well. The White Lotus' stand to take back Ba Sing Se might actually be my favorite part of the finale, tied with the energybending scene.

It's hard to take a stand against things you know are wrong, even harder when you've grown up with it all and a large number of the people you know already support that structure. This is less for Bumi and more for Iroh, Jeong Jeong, Piandao and even Pakku. All of these guys saw something wrong with the community they were in and worked hard to make sure it was made right, even if in Pakku's example, he needed a younger person to show him the right way (which isn't a bad thing!). Oftentimes this meant turning their back on the people they worked with, grew up with, and even loved, yet they did it anyways because they knew it was right.

The white lotus is so badass, iroh when he compresses the fire blast like a neutron star then shoots like a beam of fire and knocks down the walls of ba sing se with one move was so badass, jeong jeong flying and sending walls of fire down the streets, pakku and piandao ice skating and taking people out, and ofc you can’t forget bumi single handely taking out like 8 tanks then stacking them
