To those asking why it’s in English: Plenty of graffiti and almost all store signs are in English. It’s the international language. Lebanese speak English, French, and Arabic interchangeably even in a single conversation.
A standard greeting sounds like “Bonjour habibte, çe va? shu akbarak? I miss you. How is your family?
I once watched a guy hit on a woman in English and she responded only in French for about 10 minutes.
