looks great, it's best to chemically clean shingles with a bleach based cleaner than to use pressure which can shorter there life. You can use pool shock and dilute it down to 50/50, spray on with pump up sprayer. Sodium hypochlorite
Most likely they hired a contractor who would have certainly only washed the half of the structure that they were paid to do. Not really “hateful” to not pay a contractor double to do the neighbor’s side too.
Eh, I mean it’s going to take you literally twice as long to do, and it’s up on a roof which is a pain. Not exactly a tiny additional favour. And if you paid someone to do it, they’re not going to do your neighbour’s.
