"This is a dedication to Dean Potter who first walked a free-solo moment like this in Yosemite with Mikey Schaefer. Pictured here is Andy Lewis walking a gap high above the valley floor in Moab Utah. I shot this image from 3km (very COVID safe) away from the subject after navigating cliffy terrain with a massive 600mm lens, which truly pushed my physical capabilities, knowledge of the landscape and all the technology abused in the process.

After questing deep into the wilderness and missing the shot for the moonrise/sunset I stumbled through the night and arrived tired and bloody to the moonset/sunrise location on the opposite side of the towers for what you see here. This moment of alignment lasted for about 1 minute and only a few frames. It give me such hope to witness such artistic acts of humanity in these times of change."

The video for how they got this shot is amazing. The Sony a7SIII is a great camera.

When I take a photo of the moon with my phone, the moon is as small as the person in the picture
