One of my family has been planning on going back to school for nursing for a while now. She picked the right time as half of her old coworkers have tested positive and the ward is run by floats. It’s a nightmare even to deliver normal care right now.

We’re destroying the current healthcare professionals through death, sickness, and burnout. It’s disgusting.

I work in the lab, it was a forgotten thankless job before but even more so now. We are working crazy hours trying to get through all of the testing and people still don't know we exist/blame the techs working for faulty tests the CDC developed. It's exhausting. We are all doing our best.

Maybe we can make some kind of program where anti maskers can volunteer in covid wards. I mean, they're not afraid of covid, right? It's all a big hoax, so it should be easy, right?
