It was announced yesterday that Eastman Kodak Co will get a $765 million loan from the U.S. government to produce pharmaceutical ingredients in the country. A day before this announcement, there was a suspiciously high volume of shares of Kodak being traded.

I built a dashboard which tracks stock transactions by congress, and so far I have not seen any of them disclose purchases of Kodak. That being said, the STOCK act gives them 45 days to disclose their trades, so I’ll be keeping an eye on it in coming weeks.

I’m sure if someone did buy up a bunch of Kodak stock on non-public information, they’d wait as long as they could to disclose it. I'll be posting updates to Twitter.

There was some chatter over at https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/ about this--insider trading stuff. Thanks for this graph.
