In Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), the lab is portable and therefore can’t be connected to a main power grid. Since they needed portable energy, you can see in the background that they used enlarged Duracell batteries to power the lab.

This suddenly answers my only question about those movies, like the house they enlarge on the beach. Must have Duracell’s and like... plumbing already? Where will their poops go? They’ll shrink the poops into the Quantum realm I guess.

If they were charged when they made them big it would just be full of giant electrons their regular sized computers couldn’t use, if they enbiggened them empty they would take days to charge.
