One of my favorite memories was when my parents took us to 6 Flags one summer, which was awesome enough. My mom had this huge smile on her face all morning, and then when we got to the gates I saw why. They had purposefully planned the trip around Weird Al's Poodlehat tour as a surprise for me <3
We got to spend all day on the rides and then go to a Weird Al concert that night! :D it was the best trip ever
VH1 did a "Behind the Music" documentary on Weird Al. In most episodes there is the inevitable low point where the musician or group burns out and loses a fortune on drugs or alcohol.
Not Weird Al, he was interviewed and said, "Sorry to be boring, but I'm doing great!"
