My wife was away for a week a couple years back. She’s black, our kids are mixed race and both girls and are at the age where their hair can be a challenge without the right product.
I went to my local Walmart and was just staring at the 100 different products that I could use and was just overwhelmed.
A very nice couple walked by and did almost the same thing as this tweet and daddy got to do the girls hair for once.
I remember when I first started. I stopped every black woman in my way to ask questions. They were all so nice and informative. Internet has info but being able to ask questions on things that are confusing to you and talk it out with someone who already knows is amazing. For that I’m so grateful to all black women. Thanks for educating my white ass.
