Ahh, leather mold. The humidity is the culprit, and fortunately it can be cleaned off and the leather refinished.

I had no clue that leather could be so goddamn finicky. I ruined my leather furniture by letting my house get too dry and didn't moisturize causing cracks. TIL that leather can MOLD. Apparently, I am not mature enough to own nice stuff....

I live in Hawaii. Every leather boot, shoe or belt needs to be cleaned regularly!
