Mum kicked me out after threatening it for years so that day I blocked her and my step dad on my phone. Found the messages had come through on my laptop instead.
My dad did that thing where he shows up at my friend's house and spurts all the things I'd done, embarrassing me, stuff from years back. Several times. Tried to make me come home after kicking me out.
Needless to say we don't have any sort of relationship now and he'll never meet his grandchildren.
I hate that, why the fuck would I let you know I’m okay when YOU kicked me out? The fact that somebody kicked someone else out with obvious malicious intent means they don’t give a shit about you so why let them know you’re doing just fine? Fuck it, tell them you were robbed and beaten half to death that night because they kicked you out, let them live in their guilt
