This is Matthew Stanford Robison

Due to a lack of oxygen during birth, Matthew had many disabilities. He was blind, mostly paralyzed, and could say only a few words.

Matthew was expected to live only hours after birth but managed to spend 10 and a half years with his friends and family.

This just gave me chills. My brother was wheelchair-bound. Never walked or talked, never progressed past the mental age or abilities of a 6 month old baby. He wasnt expected to live past the age of 5, then 10, then 20.. and just died a few years ago at the age of 37 after a 2 year decline in health.

He would look at you, recognize you, laugh and vocalize. He would try to hold your hand if you offered it to him.

Until he got sick he was the happiest person I have ever met. Never mean. Never hateful. Never hurt a single person in his entire life.

And I feel this post so heavily.

My aunt actually contacted the artist when my cousin, who was quadriplegic with cerebral palsy, passed away. He sent her a miniature version with my cousin's name and whatnot on it, I think he only charged her like $25 for it.
