The Opossum is North America's only marsupial, they can eat 5000 ticks a year and are almost immune to rabies! Their body temperature is too low for the virus to survive!
One of my favorite IG accounts is Juniper the fox. Not only did she rescue 3 foxes (2 from fur farms), but she also rescued an opossum with neurological issues. Her name is Mushroom as she's so sweet and cute!
