so a close relative and I had a chat... he's staunchly anti-mask. when asked why, me told me essentially "that's how they control you".
I told him hey, I'm a dummy... im trying to learn, so forgive me if I sound ignorant... but who is "they", in your estimation. but also what do they stand to gain by this? how does this work?
I told him I could see if the government/ WHO/ etc said "the only way to combat Covid is to pay an extra 5% in taxes"... or if masks were required but you could only buy them from the government.
I still don't get it. to me, "it's hard to breathe" or "but I'm hoooootttttt!" is a more logical explanation.
I told him that when I'm out in public, nowadays, I often have both a firearm and something that obscures my identity... it sure doesn't feel like I'm being any more controlled than I was before...
