Regan said his daughter recently sent him an article about the topic but he said “there’s no scientific data behind it.”.

He also noted that he has received supportive messages from others since the tweets went viral.

“But I always just drop a line in the water and send them a card,” Regan said about his four children.

He emphasized that he doesn't “hold any animosity" toward his daughter following her tweets.

Regan is one of three Republicans running to represent District 73 in the Michigan state House.

US removes Saudi Arabia from list of worst human traffickers

Washington (CNN) The United States has removed key ally Saudi Arabia from its list of the worst offenders on human trafficking after just a year.

The State Department's 2020 Trafficking in Persons Report said the country had made "key achievements" in the last 12 months.

It also said that Saudi authorities had "criminally convicted and sentenced to stringent imprisonment terms two Saudi officials complicit in trafficking crimes during the year.". »
