Yes this scene is strange as hell. They’ve been dating for like 30 seconds. Plus the way the show handled this relationship was strange overall. They had a bunch of episodes with Darryl trying to win her affection and then jump ahead to a random point where he’s apparently trying to get rid of her but fails...then they never mention it again
