My sister is a teacher and has a story about a little girl from recently who has a new friend in class. Her new friend only speaks Spanish. This little girl doesn’t understand that Spanish is a real language she just thinks he talks funny, so she basically just gibbers at the boy in her own made up version of Spanish. He is very confused about it, but he understands she is being nice to him and so they are friends. I’m sure he thinks he is friends with the weird girl who can’t speak correctly. All about perspective.

Did something similar to this in a bar once but with a mute person because he looked lonely too.
We just typed something on our phone then handed it off. As soon as we were done writing something we would exchange.
Was a rather intriguing experience.
