These captions . . . So much backstory with so little actual info. Is any of that true? Where was this? Why did he take the photo?
Or is it just someone who knows that area and took a cool photo?

If you're from gator country I have a hard time believing you'd kayak through a gator infested swamp at night. I have a feeling this is from a pontoon tour specifically to look at gators and there's likely a cage around the boat.
